Great nose surprisingly fresh full of berries and bramble palate was broad with soft tannins but limited grip but the wine was still sound and really enjoyable opened up quite quickly.

SFWS tasting of 1996 Vintgae Wines; Very deep colour with huge extract. Nose very typical of Australia, picked out as one of the "ringers" in a line up of 1996 clarets. Huge fruit , bordeaux style without the style ! Still very tannic & needing more time.

NobleRottersSydney - Hunter Valley; 8/13/1999-8/15/1999 (Hunter Valley): {cork} Perhaps the pick of the Coonawarra trio this vintage on this tasting. Great balance of raspberry fruit, acid and oak tannin in medium/full body. Medium length finish but has all the goods to age gracefully.
