Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spices & floral notes, earthy/dusty, minerals & a slight touch of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, strawberries & blueberries with spices, earthiness, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it should develop further with additional aging.

Moderately deep red-purple. Bouquet of strawberry but slightly vegetal. Hint of tobacco/licorice. Flavours dominated by tar, green pepper, with red fruit flavours not as noticeable but appear at the end. Very rich flavour profile which lingers. Acidity and tannins still fairly prevalent. Will look forward to opening this again down the road.

This is my first Cristom experience, and I quite like this wine. It's very pleasant to drink- both on its own and with food. This has the light to medium body, concentration without heaviness, super fine grained tannin, and red fruit profile that I personally look for in Pinot Noir. Not a whole lot of tertiary development, but what do you expect for a Oregon Pinot less than 5 years old? I'm a fan and I'll be looking for more Cristom in the future- excited to try their single vineyard offerings.

Enjoyed over a couple of days. Tasty but lacks depth right now.
