Had it in Osaka during my Christmas trip. Stunning Leflaive aromatics of white sesame, coconut oil, nut fruit, and toasted almond. Palate showed perfect harmony between richness, ripeness and acidity. Drinking amazingly well. An excellent Pucelles with tension and complexity. 93-94

Tasted blind, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose generated green apple, calcareous soil, orchard fruit, and some almond paste notes.
While this was still tight in the mouth, it had great weight, acidity, and length.
This was an excellent showing for a Premier Cru. It needs time and should pick up a point or so.

Deep golden color, the wine seemed older than its actual age but I doubt this was oxidized or maderized. Nose of stones, appricots, peaches, honeyed citrus at the outset. Decanted and aerated for 30 minutes then drank over an hour. Fat entry on the palate, lots of dark yellow fruits, stone, minerals, some perfume and a long finish. Good body on this wine.

La Paulée de Los Angeles Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Small glass. I haven't tasted this wine in a decade, so was pleasantly surprised by its rich and powerful freshness. So well balanced with an expanding finish. So good now.
