Strikingly balanced, similar to the 7/12 note. Delicious, almost bordeauxeque nose of cassis, earth, cedar...on and on. Color was still a vibrant red with bricking at the rim.

Dark, opaque brick color, immediately bursting with cedar, earthy dried currants, black cherries, char, and nuances of smokey spices and cocoa powder. Firm and rich on the palate with chewy tannins with a sublte sweetness that unfolds into a robust finish that lasts for nearly a full minute.

With MPL and BLR at Singer & Foy. Deep ruby color. Very dark. Nose good, but shy. Fairly dense flavor; hard. Slightly bitter finish. 5-9-13-5: 82/100.
