Deep ruby in colour. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of black and red fruits, toast, pepper, graphite, lead, flora, violet. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Tannin are velvety and polished. The palate are better than the nose notes. Medium+ flavour intensity with long finish. Very refined wine. Did not decant. Will improve with ageing. Min time to decant is 2-3 hours.

Barnyard nose, stinky nose, not sure if it’s representative, very 1 dimensional, flat palate, last sip was nasty & completely oxidised, not going rate this

(Rousseau Armand Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux St.Jacques) A tight and clean nose - hinting at but never showing great depth. Ripe and soft with very fine tannin. The extra dimension over the villages cuvée seems quite small.

Fine Wines SG - Burgundy Grand Cru Tasting (Fine Wines SG): Fair nose of lemon flowers, fern, fresh teak, and cherry. Somewhat savoury, with a bit of cherries. Long finish. Pretty nice, but does not match the high price point
