last bottle and really enjoyed this one . Lots of berries on the nose , very smooth and very easy to drink although lacked something on the finish . Showed much better than both the '96 and '88 Limestone Ridge opened recently .

Century Wine Club - August 2005 (Scarborough Wines): Classical berry nose. Distinctive new-world cabernet style. Perhaps a little closed initially but really opened up with some time in the glass. Funky and jammy on the palette with lots of strawberries and new oak. Low acid levels. Rated very very good. An excellent Pyrus vintage.

{cork} Rich red colour. Concentrated cassis nose with some red berry character. No malbec this vintage – I wouldn’t say its missed. Strong tannins. Quite oaky. Even palate though. Nice wine from an average vintage. For the shorter term.
