Tasted at about 53 degrees while it's chilling down from cellar temp. Palish for a Cali chard. Smoky, vanilla tropical nose. Medium bodied, tropical fruit, heavily oaked. My wife likes Russian River chards so that's why this is in the house. I'm having a difficult time fighting through the oak. Will amplify after it's gotten colder-maybe it's an unfair test at this point.
