  On Day 1: Yellow colored, on the nose and palate, a lighter version of the 2019 Cahill Lane, consumed earlier this week. With airing, the oak became overly prominent. On Day 3: The oak has softened, and the wine is very balanced with slight bitterness in the finish. Tropical fruits. I like this style very much, this is very good, but I have had some better wines from Hansel. If I had to score this, it would probably be a 90, but for now, judgment reserved. Then... with food (broiled salmon) this showed really well. Rich, exotic. (91) I would recommend giving this time in the bottle.

  Wow. What a difference a little age makes.
  Lemon flesh in color.
  Over-ripe stone fruit nose. Not particularly enticing.
  Tense, great acidity. Some tropical fruit notes. Longish finish. Absolutely delicious. Wine has balanced out nicely. CSe worthy at this price. Drink closer to ambient room temperature to really experience all this wine has to offer.

  Light gold in color
  Loads of ripe yellow apple, pineapple, oak, vanilla
  Big, bold, round, tastes like the nose. Medium plus finish. A very robust classic Californian Chardonnay. Went nicely with salmon and French fries by Britt. She did not like the wine. It has a slightly creamy mouth feel. A well made wine, but stylistically not quite up my alley.
