Super mature, but will probably blow off or maybe not. Drinking nice, mineral elements on the nose. Very barnyard or farmyard and old house. Nice structure and viscosity. Still drinking good.

Deep dusty plum, sweetness on the nose, strawberries, earthiness and a whif of leather. On the palate, still very youthful. Primary fruit to the fore, strawberries and black forest fruit. Undergrowth and farmyard beginning to emerge. A medium length to the finsih. A very nice wine and very good value.

dusty blueish crimson, black summer fruits and farmtard on the nose. The nose, quite opulent, full, rish and sweet. Very Cote Rotie-ish rather than Burgundian. Ripe black fruits, a touch of black olive and earthy. Mature and ready. Moderaste acidity, tanins not really noticable. A mdium finsh.

(Roty Joseph Gevrey-Chambertin Les Fontenys) A bright medium colour, somewhere between cherry and ruby-red. To start, the nose is an absorbing and deep mix of faint mushroom, absorbed creamy oak and a sweet, almost impenetrably deep, musky fruit. Good acidity, if perhaps a tad tart, and a real kick of intensity in the mid-palate onwards. No rough or astringent tannins here, just a very above average finish.
