  Quite the elegant Gevrey. A nice dark magenta and an alluring, sophisticated nose of delicate floral and medium sweet cherry notes with discernible fruit acids. The palate remains a tad tight, but the tannic backbone is also pleasing and the wine expressing both Gevrey soil and a finer hand. Ready with a small decant.
  
  A subsequent Coravin remainder 2 weeks lalter yielded more acid and less interesting fruit.

  French and American Wine Tasting Dinner (USA): Double decanted lte morning brought to a tasting dinner. This was served blind next to 2012 Eyrie Vineyards Original Vines Reserve Pinot Noir. Color is a bright translucent dark ruby bordering on garnet. Lovely expressive nose of roses, some sous bois, bright red cherries and maybe a touch of tarragon. Palate is still quite structured with both acidity and tannin but well integrated and allowing an elegant mouthfeel. Red cherry, rose petals and pomegranate flow through the attach and the mid palate with a very long mineral dominated finish. Gorgeous wine that is just in the early stages of its drinking window and is balanced, expressive and layered. Upside potential if properly cellared.
  
  This had improved when served and was also pretty decisively the group favorite. It was just a touch richer and more vibrant and went well with the seared duck dish. I thought this was marginally the best wine of the evening, with the Jamet, Guyon, Rieussec and Rhys in close contention.

  瓶醒回塞一个多小时，入杯的时候就感觉很香，香气蓬勃而奔放，花香透露出一阵粉红的晕染，似是粉玫瑰束。随着香气行进，樱桃、樱桃硬糖、覆盆子等红果飘出，略带透明，还有荔枝雪葩和苹果的味道，整体香水感比较重，中后段略带一点甘草粉。入口结构中，集中度还不错，丹宁较多且明显，主要汇聚舌面，还不太舒展。果味是比较精致的树莓、红樱桃等红果，还有些荔枝硬糖，很香，有些婴儿肥的质感和流动感，花香浮动，中后段略微带苦。又过了一两个小时，香气变得更加集中，花香、红果、荔枝和苹果组合得更加精巧。入口集中度高了不少，酸度往两边潜游，单宁光滑，形成一个滑面，果味仿佛团块在口中漂浮，果味质量高，红果带一些优雅感，整体显得游刃有余。92/100
