  • Beautiful nose. Very expressive. Some red and black fruits and forest floor. But, above all, cedar box and tobacco. A tiny touch of funk. Aromas are truly a treat. I could smell this for hrs. On the palate, similar notes, albeit more muted - not quite as expressive. Well integrated, somewhat drying tannins. Excellent minerality - textbook Right Bank Bordeaux. Fully mature.

  • I really enjoyed this wine with roast beef today. Still has some sweet fruit and the soft tannins are lovely. With the caveat that this was from a restaurant rather than my own cellar, I'd say it's not got long to go and if I owned some I'd drink them over the next year or two.

  • Stll somewhat youthful looking. Only very sight bricking on the rim. Beautiful nose. Very expressive. Some black fruits and forest floor. But, above all, cedar box. Aromas are truly a treat. On the palate, similar notes, albeit more muted not quite as expressive. Well integrated, somewhat drying tannins. Excellent minerality - textbook Right Bank Bordeaux. Will revisit my last bottle in 2 more yrs or so.

  • Stll youthful looking. Only the sightest bricking on the rim. Beautiful nose. Very expressive. Black and blue fruits, ripe. Dry forest floor. Cedar box. On the palate, similar notes, albeit more muted not quite as expressive and hedonistic. Well integrated, somewhat drying, tannins. Very, very nice minerality - textbook Right Bank Bordeaux. Will revisit in 12-18 months.

  • Excellent example of a mature Right Bank Bordeaux. Slight bricking. Some lovely cedar, leather and tobacco on the nose - as well as some very nice black and red fruit. Great acidity and minerality. Very fine tannins, very well integrated and rounded. A wine with great balance.
