  Translucent dark brownish ruby in colour! Nose of slightly caramel leathery dark fruits, along with strong sweet minerals, and a dash of spices! Medium body, palate wise, rich mineral fruits! Full of characters. Nice indeed!

  From half bottle. Very good surprise. Almost no red fruits, but nice leather notes, forest floor, and cedar with few minutes on the glass. Btw still some nice tanins. Very nice to drink now

  I don’t open or decant older Bordeaux. This is just spectacular. Cork is perfect, bearly saturated. Still youthful in the glass. Great nose and just really nice in the mouth. Faded red fruit, cinnamon, dusty chocolate. At 21 still very fine. Not sure that I would hold any longer but glad I saved one to see it at 21.

  Enjoyed with some braised duck legs, but the wine is past it’s prime. The fruit gave way to the barrels, and finally ended a bit sour. If you don’t have it stored in a Scottish cellar, you have waited to long.
