"Barbara Burlingame" Offline (Rotisserie Jules, London): Some fault causing a cloudy appearance, but nothing noticable on palate or nose, much leaner style, tighter, mineral elements, more subtle. A fine bottle but only begining to show its stuff.

Offline with Barbara Burlingame (Rotisserie Jules, South Kensington): This had a weird cloudy consistency - clearly some fault with this bottle, though no signs of oxidation! Slightly muted nose, with orange zest, minerals and melted butter. On the palate quite structured, with good fruit and well-integrated oak. Long finish. After some time in the glass the wine opened up a bit more. Clearly not the best example of this, but still very good.

Still lively. Amazing balanced. Maybe not great depth but good aftertaste. Nice toasty smell. Some hints of tropical fruit.

Very ripe nose with good acidity, slightly oxidative. Very enjoyable, just lacking some depth and complexity for a GC.

Extreme minerality, ripe banana, complex and explosive nose. Palate not as convincing. Still a fantastic wine.
