medium garnet, brown edges; quite acidic, tannins fully resolved, mostly tertiary, fairly long; herbal, chocolate, grass, mushrooms, earthy, finished with some raspberry, cassis, and sour plums; definitely past, but still quite enjoyable, especially for those who dig old wines
