  had. The wine primarily has a medium body Cab Franc flavor with a good bit of minerality. The finish was slightly tart and smooth. The wine has developed nicely over the two years I have had it. Its not a long lasting wine, if you have some drink in the next year.

  I had this wine at the winery about 11 months ago and thought enough of it to buy a couple bottles for my cellar. Good choice.
  Day 1: The wine is a dark rose red. The nose leads with light red fruits and a touch of oak. The first flavor that hits is a red fruits with a metallic tone; it’s a flavor that I find primarily in new wineries that I think have young vines that have been forced with fertilizers and irrigation. It had a super nice light oaky and mild tannic finish. As is set in the bottle some of that metallic taste went away but still was distracting to some very nice flavors –85.
  Day 3: Opened the bottle which had been corked for a couple days at room temperature and found a lovely taste of cherry, raspberry and a touch of mocha along with that wonderful oak/tannin finish. None of that metallic taste at all. That time open, helped the wine find itself –89.
  Let’s see what another year does for my other bottle!
