  Scubarex opened this bottle over the weekend. He bought it at the winery on a trip to Texas. This was not as good as either the 1998 or 1999 Becker Cab Reserve or the 1998 Becker Claret that I've had. I would describe the fruit as being on the sickly side. Mostly berries and plums. Not a lot of structure or tannin in this wine. Not a bad bottle but nothing that would make me seek this out. 83 points.

  Fantastic wine. Nothing specific as I drank this with a friend some time ago. However, I drank a bottle of the 2004 recently and it was not nearly as good.
