  • Deep dark crimson with a bit of a watery edge and a delightful fruity nose of sweet red fruits. The medium-bodied plate is quite pleasing with fresh red cherries other red and blue fruits, some tobacco, rocky soil, and nicely integrated oak. I was pleasantly surprise with this reasonably priced Texas High Country wine. It actually tasted very good and one with degree of finesse. However, the only big flaw is its weak finish which is quite anti-climactic for an otherwise very enjoyable red Bordeaux blend.
