Young. Very dark purple. Distinctive red apple aromas. Sweet red apple flavours. Soft tannins. Viscous, soft and easy drinking in the extreme. Wouldn't pick it as a pinot, but would certainly drink it! Long, juicy finish.

A little bit disappointing actually knowing the producer...Perhaps better with some more bottle maturation?

Chambolle Amoureuses 2011 tasting: Purple red colour. Rather flat nose. Taste lots of substance and fruit, tannins. Medium finish.

Purple. Cool nose of cedar, violets - really perfumed. Layers of fruit and tannin here, very persistent and long. 2024+

Tasting at Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny): Barrel sample which is still in malo. This one is more lactic, though a bit gassy. Very sexy and rich.
