Medium-fullish, spicy nose with some elegance. Cloves, dark cherry and mineral. But also disturbing veggie notes of dill and roots.
Medium body. Quite tart and sour. Cranberry and sour cherry. Some spicy pinot character, but clearly lacking. Green mid-palate and tart finish.
I brought the bottle and it was a dissapointment. All the greeny-meany warnings of the 2011 vintage came true. Not GC pedigree. However, other bottles may come across as more interesting. I tasted the wine among many others in april 2023 and it made a better impression then (perhaps 92-93 pts).
