  • Bottle looked scarily gone with depressed cork. WAsnt hoping for much. The nose was at first funky like an aged Barolo with smelly old leather and burnt earth. It took 10 mins in the glass before this developed and livened up marvelously in the glass. The smelly funk blew away to reveal sweet earth and soil with scented exotic leather and black garrigue fruit notes. Smooth silky mouthfeel that became ever more alluring with each sip. Sous bois , umami and good ole fashioned burg fruit.
