Dark ruby in the glass with no sign of color change at the margins. Blackberries and spice in the nose. Full bodied with lots of fruit and good acid. Still a lot of soft tannins but very balanced. Huge, long lasting finish. Should last until 2029, but not in my cellar. It is too good now.

Nose is really full with red fruit, mostly red currant and cherry. There’s also some earth and tobacco. Palate has some earth, minerality, oak, and a bit of fruit. Assertive tannins lead into a long finish.
Not a great QPR, but this one still has quite a bit of life left so we’ll see whether that changes in 10 years.

They really make a great wine. 6+ years old, plenty of life, decanted for a few hours and drank over two days. Well integrated, dark/jammy fruits, but not overpowering, plenty of acidity left, nice medium/long finish. Still time left on this, but good now.

Decanted about 1 hour. This wine has improved with additional cellaring. Dark ruby color and floral on the nose. Nice tannins. Drinking well.
