Pale, luminous, mahogany hued blood red, with a broad amber rim. Interesting nose : linoleum tinged stewed plums with spicy hints - clove ? Fully smooth mouth, rather bitter notes of cherry stones and spice. Decent structure and length. Not a great wine, but interesting and not unpleasant. 3-

Preston Wine Club Annual Dinner (Preston): A mature pale ruby. Sweet and very volatile on the nose. Light and fresh on the palate with sweet fruit and some acidity. This is completely ready: don't leave it a day longer.
