  Carmelized dark honey color with notes of pear, butterscotch and vanilla on the nose and palette. Paired wonderfully with fresh maine seared scallops with a citrus sauce from deglazing the pan with fresh squeezed orange and white wine.

  Ripe pear, banana, pineapple, sweet oak balanced with some acidity. For the style, one of my favorite.

  Tasty and balanced, a bit of toast on the oak differentiates this from other KJ chards.

  Very disappointed. The color of this wine was almost a neon yellow. The nose was lemony with butterscotch and wisps of vanilla. Though an oaked chardonnay is was fruity and almost syrupy with pineapple and citrus flavors. Perhaps just not my style of wine, but I prefer their basic vintner's reserve at less than half the price. (And even that is just an ok weeknight sipper)
