  Fully body and long, taste of sour cherries. Little nose. Good wine but not as vibrant as the 2011 I had a month ago. May benefit from another few years in the cellar... (or not?)

  Dekantert. Vag pinje på denne også, men langt bak, blåser raskt av. Nydelig frukt, tanniner og syre, balanse. Enda bedre dag 3, bare en prfekt barolo.

  Off the charts amazing bottle of wine! A well ripened bottle of Barolo that is drinking beautifully right now. I was blown away by its power and finnesse. You feel how big it is and yet it is beguiling, beautifully balanced and stays on the palette for 90+ seconds.
  
  Dark ruby color. Bouquet of deep ripe fruit with a just hint of leather. On the palette the wine is full bodied but perfectly balanced. The tannins were perceptible in the first 20 minutes or so. But once the bottle opened up the wine was soft and velvety and floated on the tongue. Dark ripe fruit notes continued and the wine finished with floral notes of violet that stayed on my breath for 5 or so minutes.
  
  Drink this slowly over an entire evening when you have the time to think about it and savor it.

  Dekantert. Spor av furu på munn. Minimal nese. Starter litt skuffende. Endrer seg fra glass 4. Nærmer seg det den skal være. Så er den der! Ikke samme energi dag 2.
