Neb Vinous Bring a Great Barolo (Il Buco, NYC): [Double-decanted for 1 hour and 20 minutes around 8am.] Beautiful nose of black and red fruit. Rich, powerful. Young with a long finish. Should improve for 20 years or more. 94-96

On the second night the wine turned much more accessible and has taken on the blackberry/black cherry liqueur character. The flavors seem to be more rounded and sweet now and there is some aromatic depth which includes scents of eucalyptus, bay leaf and balsamic notes. It is an epitome of masculine style Barolo and I still stand by me belief that it needs at least 8-10 years before hitting its stride. In case you absolutely need to open this one, give it an overnight decant.
