Easy to drink and went well with Red meat. Some tannins but not too prominent. After a while it got softer and it might benefit from a longer airing. (I did one hour only). Drinks well now but will last a long time.

Off the list @ Murano in London. From memory. Much more approachable than I would have though for such a young Barolo. Dark sweet cherries, tobacco, some flowers and hints of menthol. Quite long finish. Not bad at all. 91p.

Not as impressed as the first bottle. Good but not great.

Firm, 1,5 years in the cellars. Light color, dark red. Dark berries, leather, hint of roses. Needs air, or more time.

Incredibly dense nose with dark berries, rose petals, tar and tobacco but also strong notes of mushrooms and some under vegetation.
The acidity is direct and energetic but lacks some precision. Very good tannic structure that adds grip and never gets dry.
This is a transparent and honest Barolo with a rather masculine expression.
