Needs time but this will be great! Light red color. Nose opens up with roses and raspberries. Palate has cranberries, pomegranate, tar, a touch of orange peel. Lots of red fruit on the palate, the tannins are chalky and the acidity is very high. Long finish as well. A tad rough at this age but you can sense the quality. Give it a another 10 years at the least.

Tasted at Tre Bicchieri, NYC. Traditional, elegant yet with a dense mouth feel. Quite lovely. Needs cellaring and probably more aeration than this bottle was given.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over a couple of hours. No formal notes but I can assure all that this is freaking delizioso. Loads of sexy red fruits: fresh bramble fruit, Montmorency cherry, pomegranate, cranberries along with some orange peel...and a tar pit…surrounded by a wall of roses. The tannins are so firm (high) right now. Acid is medium+. The finish is impossibly long, drying and savory. This is incredible and the only reason I opened one now is because I wanted to try while young since I have multiples. The 2019 vintage is the real deal. Best after 2029 and should be a stunner through 2069.

More spice, more power and more black fruit to it. And loads of structure to the back end. So to lay down. Tied up and wound up as well.

Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri Tasting (Bridgeport Arts Center - Chicago IL): Walkaround tasting with the producers. Black and red cherry, well spiced, faintly floral. Good+ depth with pronounced tannins for now. Lots here, give this a decade+ in the cellar.
