Palate less rich and exuberant than on a young Trebbiano, but the silky sensation of the juice is increased tenfold by the patina of time. It is much more supple in the mouth and very sapid, we keep a density however on the sweet herbs like anise. Sensation of wet stone in the second part of the mouth. The freshness is preserved with a nice acid frame. Intense finish on the hazelnut on a good length.
Excellent Trebbiano.

Showed seepage upon opening, and was initially bland and uninteresting. But, out of curiosity we checked back on it later in the evening and it definitely seemed to actually come around! Very singular wine when it has age and is on, but it’s always a crapshoot.

Very yellow color like buttercups. Somewhat opaque. On opening, this seemed oxidized but this quickly blew off. Nose of orange peel, chamomile, fresh almonds. Fresh and juicy like a forest in spring. With some time, aromas of hazelnut, grapefruit. Some pine needles and dried leaves. On the palate, citrus, orange peel, homemade lemonade. almond and anise. Impressive minerality and salinity, but very fresh! A bit nutty on the finish. Makes you keep wanting more. Outstanding wine!

Clean fruity nose with ripe lemon, peach, florals, some varnish and minor notes of toffee and nuts. Fullbodied and lively though rather rich palate with sweetish fruit and notes of wool, vegetality, aniseed and butter. Long nutty finish. Very nice, even if not among the best bottles in the tasting.

No formal notes, attractive oxidised style.
