Bought from the Chapoutier shop, like the first one I had. But. Surprisingly deep yellow colour. It's rich, very rich. In fact this is close to being sherry, but not a good sherry. Abandoned the bottle after one glass.

Deep yellow. (I'm tempted to say urine colour!) The nose is very open, and very floral. It's rich and powerful; full bodied with amonds and honey, bitter-sweet , on the long and spicy finish. A classic mature white Hermitage, it benefits from some air and is probably better with food than on its own. I bought mine from the Chapoutier shop, so provenance was not an issue. vg
