PNP. drying tannins out of the gate with medium acid and nice red fruit on the palate and florality on the nose. Wine was unremarkable for the first 90min and then started to open beautifully thereafter. Sadly that was my last sip. Decant and serve at cellar temp

Pretty interesting nose of petals and balsamic odors, the open the bottle where the wine really opened up and revealed more fragrances, mint, herbs, and more rose petals, very nice
Palate shows good acid level, no harsh tannins at all and a light warm finish that restrains the wine to be much better and much higher ranked... still a remarkable effort from a warm vintage where usually some dry and harsh tannins may rise and never polish.
Good

This was superb after sitting in a decanter for a few hours. Very pale in color, with some orange on the rim, beguiling aromatics, huge but very soft tannins, and lovely balance of power and finesse on the palate—with quite a bit of length. A great Barolo, especially for around the $50 mark. Classic.

Drank from a 375, and it was still too young. After an hour it opened nicely.
