Probably too early, it was nice enough to score this high (that was a consensus score actually -some of us scored it an 89). Medium light weight, still very tight and not overly generous with it's fruit. I think we will save the next bottle for a few more years at a minimum.
Still, 9 years on and this is what we're saying?? IDK.....

This is a killer bottle of Ferrando. Nose is rich with tar and floral notes. Palate is juicy, lively, earthy and dark, with a definite tannic edge. Still has real legs, not at the top.

My first white label and I can’t say I was overwhelmed. Light pretty nose and a tart finish with high acidity. Plenty enjoyable but I think my expectations were higher than what delivered. I don’t see a huge need to wait on my other bottle.

Very pretty nose and lovely palate. Earth, herbs, flowers. Light in color, starting to brick. Clean on the mid-length finish. This is not for long term aging, it does not have the fruit to last. But it is great with food right now and has a few years left, with perhaps some upside as the tannins continue to integrate.

3+ years since the last bottle and seems little changed, maybe a little more secondary / less fruit but hard to tell.
