I enjoyed this. Some typical 2003 charachteristics such as burnt fruit and notable alcohol. Lovely viscosity and tannins that have softened such that this is drinking very well now but should have 10 years of life left.

Classic st-julien nose, still a bit on the young side, but as so many other 2003s this is also drinking well young. Will hide the rest for some time longer

Rounded, good, mature scents with some dignity and a lot of oxidized apples. Calvados is close. On the palate, it completely falls apart. Taste running around in all four directions, an anorectic body and quite simply not my cup of tea. (Tasting at Oenoteca, Yokohama)
