  Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red fruits, toast, spices, mushroom. Medium acidity and medium tannin. Tannin is integrated. In its drinking window with potential to last easily 5-10 years.

  Probably my WOTN among a huge lineup of Pommard. Beautiful wine in a beautiful place. Red and dark fruits. Fine structure. Nice acidic lift. Long finish. Even longer future ahead. This is the one I kept coming back to.

  Still shows some gritty tannins. It's fresh, and deep, and seems to plump up in the glass. Classic, old-school burgundy for pondering over.

  down my strike zone, linear with red fruit and high acidity... more a Montille wine than a Pommard rugged wine, given the acidity I think this has 5 or 10 years left, but of course you always risk some reduction in fruit (which this wine doesn't have in heaps)
