Still quite firm and needs lots of air but then comes around to show itself as a beautiful balanced Burgundy with excellent depth of dark cherry fruit and a fabulous spice component on the taut but giving finish. Really on the elegant side of Pommard and a truly fine Burgundy that's still on the upswing. 94+

Very nice deep red color, very clear. Still very fruity in aroma. First taste is all cherry, quite tart, but surprisingly short on the finish with a hint of vanilla. One hour in, tart cherry still there but subdued, and while it feels thin in the middle the finish is long. Two hours in, and for me the primary fruit flavor is fading into the background. Maybe I just prefer younger wines and primary fruit flavors…

Very fresh dark cherry nose. On the palate, it shows tangy cherry fruit with a mineral edge and a touch of Pommard earth. Quite full bodied with a frim backbone and a crunchy finish sporting notes of cherry and violet spice. Youthfully taut but coming around nicely and very well made in a classically robust Pommard style and it paired so well with a burger. This has a bright future but definitely drinking well now with food. 93+

Medium slightly rusty red; soft inviting nose with lots of raspberry; silky soft rounded, still very nice fruit after almost 10 years; really inviting and charming

Klar, dyp rød med mild kant. Solbær, bringebær, fiol og musk på nese. Ren og klar, fokusert frukt med moderat konsentrasjon og mildt innslag av bitre toner. Frisk, spisset syre. Faste, men lett bitre tanniner i utgang. God lengde.
