  • Decanted for a short time. Not overly perfumed nose but lovely red berry fruits on the palate. Medium length finish. Very fresh for a 10 year old wine and exceptional VFM.

  • Opened and poured immediately, no decant. Nose of plum, boysenberry, currant and leather. Solid tannic backbone although well integrated at this stage. Luscious and full mouthfeel of rich cherry flavors, mid and forward palate. Medium to full length sweet finish. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. This bottle proved some Aussie winemakers are capable of producing a quality Cab.

  • Showing beautiful bottle age characteristics
Colour was a vibrant ruby, clear, some bottle sediment thus worth decantering. Palate weight was weighty but balanced, the normal tanins of this wine have softened to a well intergrated level, providing the wine with plesant mouth feel. Red plum, stewed fruits, and chocalte and leather characters. Still developing worth holding on to.
