Screwcap. Dark red colour, slight browning. Nose of dried fruit (prune, cranberry) and cherry syrupy. Background of old oak, with a hint of sherry. Palate is light-bodied and mildly oxidised, with fine powdery tannin and firm, clean acid. Flavours of blackberry and graphite, with a hint of dry earth.

Corked. Very evident on the nose, a little less to taste. Did get worse over time. Plenty of fresh fruit but unfortunately muted with a wet wood note.

Very nice. Nice aroma, slightly dusty but still with some fruit. Just a bit of bitterness on the tongue prevents this scoring higher

Pretty good, but not great. Tastes a bit cheap, bit heavy, not a lot of structure
