  • Yellow, bursting tropical fruits, green apples, a bit of honeydew but also dusty/mineral. Persistent, intense and great balance between the tropical fruits, touch of sweetness and acidity. Easily one of the better Rieslings out there, and great qpr. And drinking window, well no hurry here, but in a good window now

  • Straw yellow with a clear green tone. Still young. Classic Alsace Riesling nose with petroleum, bread, peach, pear and green apples. Ripe and inviting. Full bodied attack with a hint of sweetness that is quickly balanced out by a biting acidity. The mouth is filled with ripe fruit reminiscent of pears, green apples, grapefruit and lemon. Long and fresh aftertaste where the tones of petroleum from the nose reemerge. Good length. This a very good wine, but still it lacks the excitement to be found in neighbouring regions across the border to Germany. Still, I will keep some of these wines for some more years. I think the aging potential here is great.

  • I've been waiting to drink this as it was deemed as an age-worthy vintage. Yellow straw colored verging on gold. Expressive nose dominated by petroleum first, but this gives way very quickly to spiced yellow fruit in the vein of peach, pineapple and yellow plums sprinkled with pepper and exotic spice (cardamom, cinnamon). Full bodied attack, almost sweet in the mouth at first - tons of peach, pineapple and again that cinnamon hint. Then a - for Alsace - extremely high acidity kicks in, cleanses the mouth and lifts the finish to more citrusy tone while still keeping those yellow fruit flavors. The aftertaste is extremely fresh, filled with peach/yellow plum fruit, and lots of mineral tones (petroleum and slate). This is just a great wine right now. Tastes like it will keep forever. I'm impressed. This will compete well with the best GG Riesling from tha Pfalz, in a somewhat different style.

  • Definitely a Riesling from Alsace - petrol on the nose, off-dry, stone fruit and honeysuckle.

  • Youthful, white peach, white florals, wet stones, lemon zest, medium intensity nose, palate matches with medium to med minus weight, good acid, very fresh end energetic finish. Very enjoyable and likely improvement with time. 91-92+
