  Bright color, good nose, sleepy and needs more time. Drink 5+ years.

  Ex-Chateau bottle. The cork was a little soft but after a little drama and the deployment of the Durand it came out fine. Was afraid it would be corked but the bottle turned out perfectly sound.
  
  Slightly reticent nose upon opening which opened up considerably upon allowing it to breath for a half hour or so. Earth and red fruits in a complex and well balanced, nuanced combination.
  
  Tannins are fully incorporated and acidity is fully in the background. This wine is perfectly ready to drink. Lighter bodied as expected with a good balance of fruit that presented a juicy dark fruit and cherries. Very pleasant wine and I'm glad I managed to get my hands on it. Two more sleeping in the cellar that look to have many more years of life (I think it could go 10 more years and still be in it's prime).
  
  Definitely the highlight of the evening. Typically Burgandies are not my favorite but apparently 10-12 years in the bottle bring them around to a real pleasure.

  Fragrant, elegant nose, complex fruit like strawberry, raspberry and cranberry under an animal, meaty frame. Still youthful with a seductive texture, round and soft tannins, attractive fruit and a perfumed finish.
