Fourrier Griottes (The Ledbury, London): Sweeter, more evolved, more farmyardy and caramely on the nose. Positive attack, quite rounded with a touch of glycerol. Mellow red fruit, still quite vibrant, mellowing towards the edges and finishing with sweet, slightly decayed fruit. Moderate length. A touch of damp toward the finish with air but this is showing well. ****

Light and browning color, slightly corked, desiccated on the nose. (Ai Fiori)

Fourrier Griottes pre-Jean-Marie (The Ledbury, London): Another smoky nose, another grippy wine, linear after the 85, dusty, but fine.
