  1st impression: leather and roasted nuts/oak
  2nd day: oak notes gone. Balsamic, leather and quite a lot of earthiness. Sweet fruits as well.
  Not bad to drink now. Better let sit for a few more years.

  Trovare dei Chianti buoni è sempre difficile.
  Questo non era male con più di una sfaccettatura gustativa.
  Il prezzo in enoteca un filo alto, ma mi ha dato qualche soddisfazione.

  Medium-dark ruby in color. Full, fragrant & attractive of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of roses, leather, herbs, spices, anise, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries & mulberries with spices, herbs, minerals, oak & a touch of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but will continue to develop further with additional aging.
