Quite young and while this was showy with stem spice and delicious with cherries for days, it's still quite young and not quite yet harmonious. Good but better in 5-10 years.

Al Fresco Blinds in Late November: Blind. This fooled us all as it showed so much younger (I guessed 2014) with effusive and pure fruit, that is almost New World in its sunniness. No hint of stem, which also is notable. Delicious none the less.

Garnet turning brick at the edges. Nose of predominantly red fruit - cherries, raspberries, but also some floral, perfumed notes. In mout, sweet red fruit persists, but tannins have now softened and give way to a lovely, sweet, silky long finish. 6 years on from the last bottle I drank (which I gave an 86 to), and this has really aged beautifully.

Impromptu Outdoor (Burgundy) Tasting on a Beautiful Fall Afternoon (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Double blind. confusing wine. This came across as certainly younger, and less complex, than I'd expect for a 2001, and with little whole cluster spiciness I'd expect from Dujac in this era. Still, certainly enjoyable.
