Deep black, youthfully reserved nose, then loads of blue and black fruits, silky mid palate with good sap, this is very good but lacking some refinement at this stage, it just needs 10 more years in the cellar and it should be a beauty when ready, it has the underlying material to be a very good wine in time.

Jiang Nan NYC Dinner with DJCV: This wine was very Dujac and quintessentially whole cluster. Weight and opulence of 15 without being overtly alcoholic. A very nice wine but lacks the gravitas of other Dujac premier crus.

Perfumed a la Dujac. Surprisingly accessible (is this 100% new oak?), but simply does not have the structure, etherealness, intensity or layers of his grand cru. Miles away from CSD/CDLR I'd say; pleasant. 91

Premier Cru Table (The Fifth Avenue Hotel): Cheese on the cork but pretty transparent vintage purple fruit. On the thin side. 91-92

Floral, ripe but pleasant nose. On the palate, initially closed with some bitterness on the backend and a long, tongue-coating and powdery finish.
Decanting helped to open the wine up and improve the palate, gave it more spice, minerality and layers.
Drinking fine now with a decant, but still very young.
