  • If I had this in a blind tasting it would be hard to decide whether to place it in Burgundy or California. Medium ruby black with hints of purple this is a viscous, luscious and hedonistic Pinot. Tons of black cherries, purple flowers, earth, pipe tobacco, ultra expensive oak. At times you are almos thinking of the likes of chateau Pavie.
That being said this is still an unmistakable Pinot, just very modern and young and in need of many years in a good cellar. However if you enjoy something like a Marcassin, don’t hesitate to pull the cork at any moment.
