Lovely ruby color. Smokey nose. Primary flavors on the palate; earth fruit, spice. Served with roasted rack of veal and mushroom medley Sautee. I think it will benefit from another 2-3 years in the bottle.

This was very good, indeed. This gives sandalwood on the nose and the profile was interesting in that it seemed to move around quite a bit. Polished plum, earth and spice. No edges to this, but not to say it didn't have any grip. My wife said she liked it (and she rarely likes Burgundy) before I even tried it, but it wasn't modern. It was clean and with no rusticity at all. 92

Plum, hints of coriander, anise, mushroom; pure, linear and long lived, elegant and almost ethereal but too watery; still seems too young; superior, and surprisingly so, with food

showing age in glass, this is still quite young on the nose and palate. nice rootbeer notes, with black cherry, some smoke, and herbal notes. med(+) finish is nice.
