Smoky, minerally, and a little funk, complex nose. Fruit is fresh and vibrant, backed by solid acidity. Soft, dusty tannins provide good structure, Chocolate, cacao nibs on the long and persuasive finish. Fully mature, probably a couple of years past its best, but still providing lots of pleasure.

Served blind. Loads of sweet fruit - black cherry, black raspberry, plum, very ripe verging on prune. A big mineral whiff too, like ozone or petrichor, black pepper, quite spicy. Definitely some Grenache in here, elevated alcohol but absolutely billowing serious presence and energetic acidity. I'm guessing 90s Palacios L'Ermita. In a great spot right now.

Bit of dankness at first sniff, but dissipated soon. Herbal and minerally, sharp flavors and bright acidity. Youthful, extracted and succulent; Quite spicy and flavorful, this is finally totally mature. I hadn't tasted this wine in quite a long time so was not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover how well it's holding up with time. I've always said that Mogador was the most ageworthy wine in Priorat, and this bottle agrees with me. Drink and enjoy.

Fully mature with earth tones, underwood, silky tannins fading into the background. A really nice bottle of mature Clos Mogador.

5th of 9. Better than I remember, full but light with an, apparently, American oak backing. Plenty of life left. Lifted nose. Delicious.
