This one is heavier in weight. Nice finish but not layers Good to very good. Should hold up to steak if needed. Nice that Cristom has different weight wines to match with different foods. Nice to age this one.

Tasted at Cristom Winery tasting room. This vineyard is somewhat protected by forest from the Van Duzer winds, resulting in softer skins and easier ripening grapes. Fermented 46% whole cluster for 18 months in 38% new French oak. The nose is quite strawberry dominant. The palate is darker red fruited, more pomegranate dominant. Crean and crisp overall. This seems a little less structured than the other single vineyard Pinot's and slightly less long on the finish.

Layers but as much today. Some sour. Should age for many many more years. Should be great. Don’t drink now
