Brief note. From magnum. this is in great shape and was stunning with beef burgundy. wish i had another. thinking from 750 should consider near term consumption

Cork partially soaked, very dark brooding pinot. After some air, the nose gets very interesting: crushed berries, oregano, wood smoke and sautéed asparagus. Sweet and fruity on the palate -- huge really. Maybe it needs some more time to find refinement, but right now a very intriguing wine.

Just beginning to turn garnet with a complex nose - almost syrupy with good earthy Oregon terroir that mellows out after several hours. Earthy cherry on the palate is a good description but other complexities going on that evolve and integrate over time in the glass. 2nd day develops more of a burnt caramel and rhubarb. One of a handful of Cristoms I've had and like all others this one does not disappoint.

PnP. Reddish violet. Closed at first, but opened over an hour to a to develop a lovely earthy cherry aroma with 'other' (nice) things underneath. Very nicely balanced palate. Well integrated with nothing overstated.

A pint that stood the test of time. Last bottle...sorry to see it go.
