Tobo, cassis, graphite, baked fruits, cedar, more tobo and more graphite fill the mouth. This be good. Excellent attack, but a short mid-palate leading to a velvety finish that doesn’t linger quite long enough, but enough to melt the day’s stresses from the shoulders and back. All this from a less than stellar year; all this for $17.00. Some shadow of sediment on the shoulder. 12.5% alc. Not decanted. With roasted leg of lamb. Recommended.
