  • It's definitively time to drink Malesacsse 95. The wine has some nice taste of blackberry, is still quite opulent in the mouth but the nose is already loosing power. For those that bought the wine years ago it is till worth much more then what you have spent. After 17 years a good but not great wine.

  • Dark plum in color. After a 2 hour decant we were met with a blackberry, leather, and oak flavor not evident with the last bottles. This was a very different wine compared with the last we tried. What a wonderful complex and delightful mouthful. Great finish as well. Now I wish I had a few more in the cellar.

  • With the results from our last bottle, we started with a two hour decant. This time we were greeted with very aromatic nose......rich and mature. On the palate is gave up a leathery, spicy, toasty, and a bit of tannin which disappeared after the first glass. The finish lasted more than 30 secons. This bottle had much more character than our first. Excellent.

  • Decanted for one hour tasted nothing and left it for another hour. A bit of fruit developed but not strong at all. On the tongue was a fruit taste but I just couldn't tell what kind of fruit it was so soft. Not much of a finish. Maybe more time in the celler will help but this wine has me stumped.
