The bottle condition was in fantastic shape for its age and the cork still had a good seal. The colour was garnet to tawny and seriously cloudy (unfiltered but also sediment disturbed i assume).
At 80 years old the fruit is long gone but an elegance still remains with leather and old cigars intertwining. The palate itself is quite lean with some greenness.
Overall, this was an absolute treat to try. From ST
